"To say my wedding was the most intimate, beautiful, and lively wedding is an understatement. To say I was present for my vows, relaxed during the reception, and taken care of by someone so that I could actually enjoy my wedding is a miracle. Eirlys McKenzie was so specific about taking care of me on the most momentous day of my life and so quietly attentive to every little "bride-esque" need that at the end of the evening. I literally was handed my purse with the envelopes of "flat" gifts and whisked away by my new husband. All the chatter in my head about the details of the place settings, the cake arrival, the band, the DJ arrival, the flowers, the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the boutonnières, the moms, the officiant, the marriage license, the makeup, the hair, the pictures, the video, the guest book, the gifts, the guests, the candles, the clean up...OI VEY...ALL OF IT WAS A BREEZE. This was only a breeze, because Eirlys is even more organized, coordinated, and efficient than I am. I needed that on my wedding day! My wedding was hosted by two very special friends who happen to be famous. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen opened their home to my family and friends and because of their generosity and love, I wanted to make sure that someone professional and efficient would over see all the minutia of the event, so that I wouldn't have to worry about one inch of their house and they too could be guests of the wedding. Ted and Mary thanked me for allowing them to be a part of my special day and be guests in their own home. I told them, simply, it was Eirlys. She made the smallest things and the biggest things go smoothly.

If you are a bride, you know what you want your wedding to be like; what you want for the ceremony, who you want sitting at what table, what songs you want to hear, what mood you want the party to be like, what elderly person needs to be seated, when the toasts should take place, how the flowers should look, how the candles should be lit, who should walk down the aisle with who, what the guestbook should look like, how you should look, how the event should move along... and on and on. Having been a bride, what I didn't plan was how much intimacy and joy I experienced on that special day. I got to let go of all the details and put it into the hands of Eirlys, someone extremely capable and experienced... after all she was a bride too. She knows how important this day is for you."
